Title

Walker’s DeLuxe Bourbon Whiskey Ad, 133.

Subject

Alcohol ad

Description

The ad depicts a black man in a tuxedo serving crystal tumblers of bourbon whiskey in a holiday-decorated room of what looks like a mansion. It is implicit that he is a server of the whiskey, and probably not the wealthy owner/consumer of it. The ad emphasizes that, for a limited time, they are selling the whiskey in a Hospitality Decanter, or a special bottle that can be re-used for other liquors. This makes the whiskey more of a seasonal gift.
