The Special Operations Research Database is available to registered researchers only. 

In order to create an account:

1. Click "Login" in the upper right-hand corner of this page.
2. You will be directed to the Middlebury College login page. Click the "register a guest account here" link.
3. Under "New Guest Accounts," click the "Register an account" button.
4. Fill out the brief form and click the "Create" button.
5. A verification link will be sent to your provided email. Click the link and you will be taken to a confirmation screen. 
6. Forward your verification email to sblaylock@middlebury.edu along with your full name, the name of your academic institution, and your role at that institution (student, faculty member, etc.).
7. Once your SORD account has been approved you will receive an email from the site administrator advising you that you may now access the database.
