Middlebury College collection of instruments, collected by Professor Frederick T. Hall while on college funded tour of European centers of natural philosophy during a two year tour, probably 1807-1808. These instruments were used in lectures and demonstrations during Hall's classes in chemistry, physics, mathematics and natural philosophy more generally.
