Crisis Pregnancy Centers (CPCs) in a Time of Crisis

Description

This website was created by a group of students as a part of Professor Carly Thomsen’s “Politics of Reproduction” class in the spring of 2020. The website provides information on CPCs and focuses on CPCs’ online presence during the coronavirus pandemic. In making the website, students Emily Kerstein, Elva Osorio, Grace Vedock, and Joan Vera communicated with CPCs near their respective hometowns using phone or chat functions, posing as pregnant people looking for information about pregnancy and abortion. Transcriptions of their chats are included here (as well as on the website: https://gvedock.wixsite.com/crisiscpcs).
