Addison County Action Forum Poster

The Addison County Action Forum was an event organized by Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, the branch of PP that FAM works closely with. The event was held at the Marquis Theatre on January 20, 2020. The goal of this event was to bring residents of Addison County together to learn about and organize around Prop 5. Prop 5 is a proposed VT state constitutional amendment, in response to federal Title X funding cuts, that would ensure reproductive liberty is an unalienable right for Vermonters. The event also served as an opportunity for Middlebury students to meet community members interested in reproductive justice and organizing. From this meeting, students and town members decided to work together to bring Prop 5 to the upcoming town hall meeting in the spring.
