Among several discussions of the possibility of nuclear war in the Middlebury Campus from 1985, two article stood out. One was a full page discussion of the ridiculousness of nuclear war and importance of joining the national and international protest movement. The other tells of a small nuclear protest, "Songs for Peace" organized on campus at Proctor Terrace, reflecting how students saw themselves as part of a larger movement.
