'Black-out' Protests Atom Power Plant Construction in Vernon, VT: The protestors sponsored a candle-light rally in the Johnson Building, the College itself did not officially cooperate and many lights remained on. Some students who did not agree with the purpose or method of the protest, staged individual counter-demonstrations by using all the electricity they could. Low Attendance: Very few people gathered in Johnson and a good many students seemed unaware and unconcerned by the whole affair.
