Japanese Goods Boycotted for Whale Carnage

Title

Japanese Goods Boycotted for Whale Carnage

Description

This article in the Middlebury Campus focusses on the proposed boycott on Japanese goods to promote whale conservation. The Japanese ignored the conservation efforts of the United Nations Conference on the Environment which unanimously called for a 10 year halt in whaling. The disregard for international opinion has caused discussions about dramatic actions, such as a complete boycott, to convey the severity of Japan's impact on the environment.
