Birch Banks Interview Transcription

This is the transcription of an interview with Birch Banks '25. Birch is an Environmental Studies Major. At Middlebury he participates in the Sunday Night Environmental Group (SNEG), and also helped organize “The MAC is Now the CFA” protest during J-Term 2023. The student-led initiative aimed to shape the institutional memory of the Mahaney Arts Center, named after Kevin P. Mahaney, and make younger students aware of 2018 allegations that he helped to cover up a sexual assault.
