Memo to Senator Hardy

Description

This legislative memo to Vermont State Senator Ruth Hardy was written in February of 2019 by a group of student-activists, including Theodora Bean, Miranda de Beer, Maria Bobbitt-Chertock, Allison Dammann, Victoria Isquith, Heather Morton, Tate Serletti, Taite Shomo, Grace Vedock, and Hira Zeeshan. The memo contains information about CPCs’ deceptive tactics, including the local CPC in Middlebury, as well as what actions the state of Vermont could take against such practices. The students urge Vermont legislators to take a stand in regulating CPCs in order to ensure access to “accurate health information and judgment-free, compassionate care” for women.
