The Campus: "Take Back the Night march confronts rape and violence"

Description

This Campus feature details the Take Back The Night March/Week held in April of 1998, as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The article describes the march and who attended it. It also describes a blue light study conducted by Jennifer Handal '98, who found Middlebury severely lacking compared to other colleges. The Sexual Assault Policy and Safety Task Forces were also discussed, as well as criticism of the college's administration for the manner in which they handle sexual assault policy and reporting. Here is the article from The Campus' archives, as well as a photo of the article as it was originally printed.
