Description
An account of the resource
The Sexual and Relationship Respect Committee (SRR) was founded in 2015 by Maddie Orcutt ‘16, Sherielle Crosby ‘16, Katie Preston ‘17, and Michelle Peng ‘15, who were all heavily engaged in It Happens Here. After attending a conference at Amherst College and learning of a similar position, these students worked to pass a bill in our SGA Senate that added the Director of Sexual and Relationship Respect position to Middlebury’s SGA cabinet. This bill was passed in the Spring of 2015 and Maddie Orcutt assumed the first directorship position. Two years later, during the 2017-2018 academic year, SRR became an ad hoc committee, meaning that it included committee members in addition to directors for the first time. The SRR committee represents the sexual and relationship respect concerns of the student body when it comes to matters involving the SGA or administration. Most prominently, SRR has engaged in activism regarding freshman orientation consent education, free access to safe sex supplies and menstutal products, and a Complcity Project in which students were asked to recognize and challenge their complicity in Middlebury’s culture of sexual assault. See the SRR collection to learn more about these SRR projects and many others.

Description
An account of the resource
When Middlebury Students were evacuated in March 2020 due to COVID-19, SRR had to change their plan for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April). They put together an email which included four pdf recourse guides they had designed. The email was sent by the SGA to the entire student body on April 26, 2020. The recourse guides contained the following information:
1. Information about how to submit anonymous questions and access the SRR answers blog
2. A domestic abuse/violence recourse guide
3. A sex life in quarantine guide
4. A general Sexual Assault Awareness Month guide that included information about self care, how to support survivors, and related media
This document includes the text from the email, as well as all four recourse guides. There were multiple memes on the "Middlebury Memes for Crunchy Teens" page (3.3K members) in reference to some of the recourses provided in the email, and the SRR answers blog had a huge spike in viewership.

Description
An account of the resource
After the high level of student engagement with their Sex In The Dark event in January, SRR launched a consistent go/link-based anonymous questions and answers initiative. The abbreviated answers from the Sex In The Dark event were posted on the answers blog for those who couldn't make it to the event. Students can continue to send anonymous questions to SRR through go/srrquestions, and then access the answers which are posted on SRR's blog (go/srranswers). This blog page received over 2100 views before the end of that academic year. This is the link to the blog.

Description
An account of the resource
SRR had it's first ever Sex In The Dark event in January of 2020. The event included glow sticks, ring pops, snacks, and most importantly a panel of qualified Sexperts who answered any and all anonymous questions that students submitted online. The panel of six included Marti McCaleb (Middlebury Title IX coordinator), Alison Farr (senior nurse practitioner at Middlebury Parton Health Center), Mara Iverson (Director of Education at Outright Vermont), Jenna Emerson (a health educator at the University of Vermont), and Emily Wagner (Middlebury Violence Prevention Specialist). The event was attended by around 150 Middlebury students, and inspired SRR to start a go/link based anonymous question and answers sites. All questions and answers from the Sex In The Dark event were abbreviated and posted on the SRR answers blog, and students can continue submitting anonymous questions, the answers to which will also be posted on the blog by SRR.
