Memo to Senator Hardy
This legislative memo to Vermont State Senator Ruth Hardy was written in February of 2019 by a group of student-activists, including Theodora Bean, Miranda de Beer, Maria Bobbitt-Chertock, Allison Dammann, Victoria Isquith, Heather Morton, Tate Serletti, Taite Shomo, Grace Vedock, and Hira Zeeshan. The memo contains information about CPCs’ deceptive tactics, including the local CPC in Middlebury, as well as what actions the state of Vermont could take against such practices. The students urge Vermont legislators to take a stand in regulating CPCs in order to ensure access to “accurate health information and judgment-free, compassionate care” for women.

Flier Used at 2018 Student Activities Fair
This flier was created by Miranda-Max de Beer (Class of 2019) and Mika Morton (Class of 2019). It contains information about CPCs and the misinformation they spread. De Beer and Morton handed out this flier at the 2018 Student Activities Fair, which is an annual event in which student groups, as well as local organizations with an on-campus presence, advertise to students interested in getting involved. The local CPC has frequently held a booth to advertise at this event. In 2018, to protest the CPC’s presence on campus, de Beer and Morton intercepted people passing by the CPC’s booth and gave them this flier.
